Senior Cardiac Physiologist – Echocardiography

I am delighted to partner with a leading Hospital in the south of Ireland to recruit a Senior Cardiac Physiologist to meet the demands of a growing Cardiac team.

You will work as part of a Heart & Vascular MDT providing:

• ECG,
• ambulatory monitoring,
• transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiography (in clinic and Cath lab),
• Dobutimine Stress Echocardiograms
• Exercise Stress Echo’s.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide leadership and mentoring / training echocardiography and non-invasive testing.

Requirements

• Valid current approval to work in Ireland is essential, e.g. currently working in Ireland, or an EU, UK Citizen etc – work permits will NOT be processed for this role.
• A minimum of 3 years post qualification relevant work experience in a modern Cardiac department.

• Relevant qualification –
• Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Clinical Measurement Science, Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT)
• Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Clinical Measurement Science, Technological University Dublin (TUD)
• Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) from Dublin Institute of Technology (if qualified in or prior to 2005).

Or

• IICMP Recognition.

• BSE (British Society of Echocardiography) or EACVI (European Society of Cardiology) Accrediation. – Essential
