Radiography Department Deputy Manager
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior / Clinical Specialist Radiographer to take the next step in their career at a leading, modern Private Hospital in Ireland.
As the team leader, you will be responsible for the operation of the Imaging department ensuring a safe and efficient service is provided whilst utilising all available resources effectively.
You will be the guide and mentor to the team of Radiographers, including Senior and Clinical Specialists.
As part of your role, you will retain some hands-on radiography duties.
Be responsible for adherence to Radiation Protection Guidelines.
Be an effective communicator within the Radiography Department and across other disciplines including a direct line to the Hospital General Manager.
Manage audits across the department.
Take responsibility for the service provided, including Patient Experience.
Organise the rotation of staff across different modalities.
Requirements:
Relevant Degree in Diagnostic Radiography
CORU Registration
Post graduate qualification in Leadership / Management is preferred.
Post Graduate Radiography qualification is preferred.
A minimum of 6 years post graduate experience to include some experience in a leadership role.
An ability to lead in clinical and non-clinical situations.
