PET/CT Clinical Specialist Radiographer
As a team leader ‘lead by example’ taking responsibility for service delivery within the PET/CT unit.
Ensure a ‘patient first’ culture, being accountable for quality of service.
Provide input to decisions on new equipment selection and purchase, upgrading or replacement etc.
Retain expert knowledge of current best practice and latest advancements in PET/CT. Take responsibility for ensuring best practices are adhered to.
Develop and manage a training plan for all staff within the unit.
Requirements:
- Relevant BSc (Hons) e.g. Radiography.
- Post grad qualification in PET/CT or Nuclear Medicine – desirable
- CORU Registration or CORU Recognition
- Leadership experience.
- 6+ years specialising in a PET/CT environment to include experience in SPECT/CT and PET/CT, working in the Radiopharmacy and intravenous cannulation / administration.
