We offer you guidance and support throughout the whole recruitment process and we have a strong compliance team ready to help you with all required paperwork. We also assist you with relocation and can guide you clearly through any questions you may have. Relocation is not an easy process and we will take the time to guide you through it all.

Key responsibilities of the General Practitioner:

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred primary care to patients across the lifespan.
  • Assess, diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions, including preventive care and health promotion.
  • Develop appropriate treatment plans, prescribe safely and review medicines in line with clinical guidance.
  • Recognise red flags and urgent presentations, stabilise where appropriate, and arrange timely escalation or referral.
  • Coordinate care with hospitals, specialists, community services, pharmacists, nurses and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Support continuity of care through follow-up, chronic disease management, screening, vaccination and lifestyle advice.

Key requirements of the General Practitioner:

  • Primary medical degree or equivalent medical qualification
  • IMC Specialist Registration in General Practice or in the final process
  • May consider IMC General Registration doctors in some cases, if doctor has proven General Practice/Family Medicine training and post internship experience
  • Seeking a minimum fixed term contract of 3 months or longer
  • Evidence of safe, competent clinical practice and strong decision-making in a primary care setting
  • Excellent communication, consultation, teamwork and patient-management skills
