Gastroenterologist

• I am delighted to be partnering with a major Model 4 Hospital in Ireland to appoint a Consultant Gastroenterologist.

• The successful candidate will join a busy, Consultant led Gastroenterology and General Medicine department.

• As part of one of Ireland’s Cancer Centre Hospitals, Gastroenterology work as part of an MDT to ensure patients diagnosed with Gastroenterology Cancer receive appropriate care.

• Other services include:

Bowel Screening
and
a Luminal Gastroenterology service.

Other Duties:

• Provide a complete multidisciplinary gastroenterology and general physician service alongside the existing Gastroenterology Consultants.

• Manage Endoscopy waiting lists and outpatient lists.

Requirements:

• Specialist IMC registration in BOTH Gastroenterology AND General (Internal) Medicine or in the process of registering with IMC.

or

• Equivalent EU/EEA or GMC Specialist Registration

and

• Relevant qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant Consultant level experience.
• Excellent English language and communication skills.
• Permission to live and work in Ireland as the urgency of this role will prevent the processing of Work Permits / Visas.
