A prestigious rehabilitation hospital based in Dublin is interested in hiring an SHO doctor with proven experience working on their own initiative.
Please note: This is an URGENT requirement, therefore the hospital will only consider doctors who are currently In Ireland OR who have No Visa or Work Permit Restrictions OR hold a current work permit/permission to work in Ireland
Key responsibilities:
- Participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team in the provision of medical care to patients
- Diagnose and treat patients
- Ensure that duties and functions are undertaken in a manner that prioritises the safety and well-being of patients
- Assess patients on admission and/or discharge as required
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Initiate and monitor treatment
- Communicate effectively with patients and clients
- Further progress knowledge of diagnosis and management
- Participate in multi-disciplinary clinical audit and proactive risk management
- Seek advice and assistance from the Consultant / Employer with any assigned cases or issues that prove to be beyond the scope of his / her professional competence in line with principles of best practice and clinical governance
- Perform other duties as required by the supervising Consultant / Employer
Key requirements of the Senior House Officer:
- General IMC registration or in the final stages of the process
- Irish experience would be a distinct advantage
- No Visa or WP Restrictions, to work as a doctor in this hospital – as they need someone to start ASAP OR hold a current work permit/permission to work in Ireland so there are no delays
- Full Membership exams, for example, MRCPI etc. or in the process of membership exams, would help your application
- Proven post internship experience in Geriatric Medicine, ED or General Medicine
- You will need to have passed either the IELTS or OET exam and hold a valid certificate. The two accepted standards are IELTS overall Band 7, not less than 6.5 in each domain or OET Grade B overall
- Available to start ASAP
