*** Dermatology Registrars – July 26 ***

We are currently recruiting for Dermatology Registrars for available positions in Public Hospitals across Ireland.

Key responsibilities of the Dermatology Registrar:

  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality medical care to patients.
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients in accordance with best clinical practice.
  • Carry out all duties and responsibilities with patient safety, wellbeing, and quality of care as the highest priorities.
  • Conduct patient assessments on admission and/or discharge as required and maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation.
  • Request, review, and interpret appropriate diagnostic investigations.
  • Initiate, implement, and monitor treatment plans in line with clinical needs.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.
  • Maintain and continuously develop knowledge and skills in clinical diagnosis and patient management.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary clinical audits, risk management initiatives, and support the collection and reporting of relevant clinical data.
  • Cooperate with systems and processes established to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service requirements.
  • Comply with the requirements of the European Working Time Directive and relevant Irish legislation and support measures implemented to ensure adherence.
  • Participate fully in investigations, reviews, audits, and enquiries relating to the provision of healthcare services when required.
  • Adhere to all statutory and regulatory requirements, training standards where applicable, organisational policies and procedures, and human resource frameworks (including policies such as Dignity at Work, Trust in Care, Flexible Working Scheme, etc.).
  • Undertake any additional duties as assigned by the supervising Consultant or Clinical Director

Key Requirements for this Post:

  • General IMC registration
  • Full MRCPI or MRCP UK Qualification or in process of these professional exams would help your application
  • Proven Dermatology experience essential
  • You will need to have passed either the IELTS or OET exam and hold a valid certificate. The two accepted standards are IELTS overall Band 7, not less than 6.5 in each domain or OET Grade B overall
  • Available to start July 2026
