Clinical Specialist Radiation Therapists
I am partnering with Public Hospitals and Private Hospitals who currently are looking to grow their Senior Radiation Therapist team with additional hires at Clinical Specialist Radiation Therapist level.
Excellent opportunities for advanced training and CPD in new Cancer Treatment centres with the very latest state of the art equipment.
Expected qualities:
- A proven ability to organise the workflow within their clinical area in an effective and efficient way.
- Strong training, mentoring, leadership and management skills.
- Expertise to ‘lead by example’ in the preparation and the treatment of patients. e.g. undertaking or checking specialised dose calculations + complex planning data throughout the process of localisation, simulation, planning, verification and of treatment delivery.
- Experience facilitating and managing Continuous Professional Development (CPD) of a Radiotherapy team.
- Ability to monitor quality of work across Radiotherapy team.
- Experienced in positive engagement and collaboration as part of a Multi-Disciplinary team.
Requirements:
- Relevant (Hons) Degree – Essential
- Relevant Post graduate Studies / Masters – preferred
- CORU Registration or in process of CORU Registration – essential.
- Minimum 6 years’ experience as a Radiation Therapist with a minimum of 2 years at Supervisor, Leader, Senior Specialist level utilising up to date equipment and procedures.
