Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist – Orthopaedic Inpatients
We are currently working with a modern Private Hospital in Dublin to appoint a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist for their Orthopaedic Inpatients service.

Main Responsibilities:

As a Clinical Specialist, you will

  • Co-ordinate and deliver an effective and efficient Orthopaedic In-Patient Physiotherapy Service, based on assessment of needs.
  • Identify and implement operational procedures in line with best practice standards.
  • As a member of the Senior Physiotherapy Management team, take an active role in developing and improving the physiotherapy service across all disciplines for both IPD’s and OPD’s in this 25 strong Physiotherapy team.
  • Ensure positive and effective lines of communication are developed and maintained across MDT’s, e.g. Intensive Care, Cardiothoracic, Oncology, Orthopaedics and General Medicine – in particular with Orthopaedic Surgeons and Consultants.

Main Requirements:

  • CORU Registration is essential
  • A suitable post graduate qualification in Orthopaedics / Trauma is desirable.
  • Proven success and evidence of Continuous Improvement as a Specialist in the area of Physiotherapy services for Orthopaedics Inpatients.
