Chief Vascular Physiologist

A great senior / leadership role in a leading Dublin Hospital.

Take leadership in the delivery of Vascular team service to include the performance of diagnostic tests for diagnosis and treatment of Vascular conditions.
Familiarity with a wide range of modern equipment and techniques used to deliver the service is a requirement.
Main Responsibilities

  • Take an active part in developing, planning, organising, implementing and continuous improvement of the Vascular service.
  • Ensure clinical standards and standards of patient care are upheld.
  • Train and lead a team to deliver Vascular testing service to include training needs and performance evaluations.
  • Manage Multidisciplinary relationships, e.g. Consultants, other Hospital staff, GP’s etc.
  • Provides input to new equipment selection decisions.
  • Keep up to date with all advances in the area – facilitated by training days etc.

Requirements
Qualifications

  • Relevant BSc (Hons) in Clinical Measurement

Experience

  • Minimum of five years post qualification experience in a Vascular Department, including time in a Senior / Supervisory role.
