Key responsibilities of the Anaesthesia/ICU Registrar:
- Monitor patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Responsible for ICU Ward Rounds
- Admit ICU patients to theatre if necessary
- Follow up of post-operative surgical patients
- Severe decompensation of medical patients
- Severe pain management
- Manage patients with fluid management issues
- ED & Airway management
- Cardiorespiratory resuscitation
Key requirements:
- Active General IMC registration or in the final process
- Full MRCS or MRCP or in the process of these professional exams, would help your application
- MCAI would be a distinct advantage
- Valid ACLS
- You will need to have passed either the IELTS or OET exam and hold a valid certificate. The two accepted standards are IELTS overall Band 7, not less than 6.5 in each domain or OET Grade B overall
- Proven Intensive Care (ICU) experience is essential
- Available to start ASAP
