Advanced Specialist Pharmacist – Haematology / Oncology

We are delighted to be partnering with a major Hospital to appoint an Advanced Specialist Pharmacist in Haematology / Oncology in this new, exciting role.

Main Duties:

• Provide a specialist Haematology / Oncology Clinical Pharmacy service.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to members of the Haematology / Oncology Clinical Pharmacy team.
• Take a positive role in identifying and developing improvements to the service.
• Take a positive role in identifying and facilitating improvements to the IT systems.
• Provide input to Clinical Trials.
• Work as part of an MDT on wards, carrying out assessments, medication control + inspecting of controlled drugs.

Requirements:

• Registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI)
• A minimum of 4 years post registration Clinical Hospital experience with a minimum of 2 years specialising in Haematology/Oncology Pharmacy services.
• Evidence of Continuous Professional Development in Haematology/Oncology Pharmacy services.
