Senior Radiologist / Radiology Clinical Education Facilitator
This is an ideal opportunity for a Senior Radiologist who has the interpersonal skills and the interest to consistently improve the standard of service delivery by the department and also the skillsets and careers of all staff.

Role:
- Improve Patient experience through developing and implementing training and development activities for Radiographers and other staff.
- Ensure access to best practice educational services for members of radiology team including new grad’s and post grad’s.
- Remain knowledgeable on any new developments / offerings to ensure up to date clinical programmes are available.
- Monitor and supervise Radiographers and staff during their clinical work.
- Co-ordinate and encourage Continuous Professional Development.
- Directly carry out clinical duties to ensure own skills are retained and up to date.
- Plan and manage new joiners orientation.
- Work with senior colleagues in planning and developing clinical practices to ensure appropriate new innovations are utilised.
Requirements:
- A strong, confident communicator who can evoke enthusiasm for continuous development and improvement of standards.
- CORU registration is essential
- A minimum of 6 years post graduate experience in a modern pro-active radiography department.
- A relevant post graduate qualification.
- Evidence of mentoring and training of colleagues.
- Formal clinical teaching in a clinical setting is preferred.
