*** Medical/Surgical SHO – Private Hospitals Across Ireland ***

Are you a doctor seeking an SHO position in Ireland and would be interested in working in a dual role in Medicine & Surgery?

We are currently recruiting for Medical/Surgical SHO posts with Private Hospitals across Ireland to start ASAP & February 2026.

Duffy Alexander Recruitment works in partnership with the HSE (Public Hospitals which includes University Teaching Hospitals), Private hospitals & Clinics across Ireland to recruit doctors across all levels in multiple specialities.

Key Requirements for this role:

• Active General IMC Registration or in the final process
• Full Professional exams or in the process of completing, MRCPI and/or MRCSI would be an advantage
• Irish / UK / EU or South African Hospital experience desirable but not essential
• Proven post internship experience in General Medicine & General Surgery
• You will need to have passed either the IELTS or OET exam and hold a valid certificate. The two accepted standards are IELTS overall Band 7, not less than 6.5 in each domain or OET Grade B overall
• Available to start in ASAP / Latest February 2026
