Senior Radiographer / Radiography Tutor

This is an excellent opportunity for:

• A Senior Radiographer with teaching experience to move into a formal role as a Radiography Tutor in a leading Hospital whilst still maintaining a hands-on Clinical role.

Or

• A senior Radiographer with exceptional communication skills, some previous relevant experience and an interest in moving into a Radiography Tutor role.

This role is approximately 50% Radiography Tutor and 50% hands-on Clinical duties.
Main Duties:

• Plan, organise and manage the clinical education of undergraduate Radiography students.
• Liaise with Radiography Degree Management (University) and Radiography Services Manager (Hospital) and Hospital Management to ensure a successful program for students, the University and the Hospital.
• Co-ordinate and support the ongoing CPD of the existing team of Radiographers.
• Provide patient focused Clinical Radiography services
• Support the Radiography Services Manager across relevant projects.

Requirements:

• Previous experience contributing to education of Radiography Students or interns.
• Minimum 5 years Clinical Radiography experience (ideally in General x-ray, ED and / or CT).
• CORU Registration is essential.
• Excellent communication skills
