Ultrasound (Sonographer) Radiographer – Clinical Specialist
An opportunity to join a leading Hospital renowned for investment in the latest technology and in continuous staff development – Radiography department is currently going through a major expansion.
‘lead by example’ taking responsibility for service delivery within the Ultrasound (Sonography) unit as a Team Leader.
Ensure a ‘patient first’ culture, being accountable for quality of service.
Provide input to decisions on new equipment selection and purchase, upgrading or replacement etc.
Retain expert knowledge of current best practice and latest advancements in Ultrasound. Take responsibility for ensuring best practices are adhered to.
Develop and manage a training plan for all staff within the unit.
Requirements:
- Relevant BSc (Hons) e.g. Radiography.
- Post grad qualification in Ultrasound – desirable
- CORU Registration or CORU Recognition
- Leadership experience.
- 6+ years specialising in a Clinical hands-on role in an Ultrasound environment.
