A semi-public hospital based in North Dublin is seeking a Medical Registrar (ideally with experience in Geriatric/Rehabilitation Medicine).

Duffy Alexander Recruitment works in partnership with the HSE (Public Hospitals which includes University Teaching Hospitals), Private hospitals & Clinics across Ireland to recruit doctors across all levels in multiple specialities.
Key responsibilities:
- Participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team in the provision of medical care to patients
- Diagnose and treat patients
- Ensure that duties and functions are undertaken in a manner that prioritises the safety and well-being of patients
- Assess patients on admission and/or discharge as required and write detailed reports in the case notes
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Initiate and monitor treatment
- Communicate effectively with patients and clients
- Attend clinics and participate in relevant meetings, case conferences and ward rounds; followed by documentation of findings on each patient’s chart; follow through with actions arising from the round
Key requirements of the Medical Registrar:
- General Active IMC registration
- Valid ACLS & BLS Certificate Essential
- Full MRCP Qualification or in process of these professional exams would help your application
- You will also need to have considerable experience in General Medicine / sub-specialties
- You will need to have passed either the IELTS or OET exam and hold a valid certificate. The two accepted standards are IELTS overall Band 7, not less than 6.5 in each domain or OET Grade B overall
- You must have no Visa and/or Work Permit Restrictions to work in Ireland or you must already have a Valid Visa and/or Work Permit and based in Ireland, which will enable you to start ASAP
